This is calling on all multi-niched humans. If you love fashion, food, and faith then you should get in here because you need to know the hack our guest uses. My favorite thing about her brand is how she can do all of these three things and infuse them into one page on Instagram. Now let’s throw confetti and have us this amazing show.

WNG: Let’s get to know you?

UDUAK: My name is Uduak which means the Will Of God in Akwa ibom.

I live in Lagos Nigeria and I run a fashion brand Suesignature Urban and food brand Mama Sue special. I also create content for other brand mostly through my styling videos.

WNG: How did you come up with your brand?

UDUAK:  I’d worked in a bank for several years and the struggle to pick outfits daily was draining. I started out by buying clothes that can be worn in several ways as i was a junior staff at the time and didn’t have a lot on me. I could wear one black blazer everyday and you wouldn’t know because of how well I styled them. People would always compliment me and ask where I got these outfits and in turn shop from them. So I decided why don’t I do what I already love doing. That goes for both my fashion and food business.

WNG: Bankers sure do dress well. You do better with it though. How do you incorporate fashion, food, and faith into one brand?

UDUAK: My businesses operate individually. Separate from each other. The way I’ve been able to incorporate all of them into one is through my personal brand @ms_yudee

I have the liberty of sharing myself through my instagram posts and stories in a fun way while redirecting when for business  or just for the fun of it.

My faith is my lifestyle. So regardless of what I’m discussing showing God through it all is what I live for. He is at the center of it all and without him there will be no me.

WNG: That’s four brands if you ask me, but I love how your personal brand defines it all. What collaborations do you look forward to?

UDUAK: Every single day on my page there’s a collaboration. I’m constantly working with other brands and so there’s always something to see.

WNG: This is true. What’s the exciting part of being a creative?

UDUAK: The most exciting part is feedback from my clients especially the ones who opt for video content. Their excitement when the video is ready and constant sharing of the work I did for their brand gives me satisfaction. It’s like a tap on the back and at that point it makes all the hard work worth it.

WNG: You’re always consistent with your creativity, what inspires the content you create?

UDUAK: Everything and everyone! Sometimes its when I see the outfit. I start thinking about how to try it out in different ways. I cook too and like I said I just love to test and try and that’s how I come up with ideas along the way.

WNG: We all have struggles, what do you struggle with creatively?

UDUAK:  I’m afraid of failure and the more I work towards my goal to avoid failing the harder it is for me to care for myself either by sleeping or grabbing lunch.

WNG: Quick Tip for content creators?

UDUAK: Show up everyday one day it’ll all make sense

WNG: Yeah, this is right. Fashion do’s and don’t?

UDUAK: Personally I think that you shouldn’t be restricted by guidelines of Dos and don’t but I’d say be honest about your features and what goes best with it.

Don’t Wear a skimpy dress or extremely high shoes unless you’re sure that you’re comfortable in it.

Always buy a versatile piece that can go with items you already have in your wardrobe.

WNG: What is the biggest ant in the world?

UDUAK: I have no idea. If I could eat the ant then I’d probably be aware.

WNG: It’s an elephant! Good luck finding one to eat. Any project we should look forward to?

UDUAK: I’ll be starting classes on video editing and content creation this August. This would serve businesses and content creators make use of instagram and editing tools

WNG: Thank you for your time Uduak.

Having read this I thought it was rather enlightening. I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this short article together. I once again find myself spending a significant amount of time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it! Lynea Jackie Virgin
